Railing heightThis planner accepts the 36–42 in range. Confirm the required height for the site. MountingWood surface mounting includes one 4x4 post plate connector per post. Aluminum uses fascia brackets. Wood fascia mounting uses 5 ft posts and three 10 in structural screws per post. Price contingency (%)Used for wood railing only. Aluminum uses its specific listed materials with no contingency.

3 · Railing edges

Confirm the railing traced from the deck

Every exposed deck edge is divided into equal spaces no longer than 6 ft. A 20 ft edge becomes four 5 ft spaces and requires four 6 ft rail kits.
